Antwerp . Brussels

A short road trip crossing the French and Belgium borders to visit the cities of Antwerp and Brussels. Both cities were full of stunning gothic architecture, quaint cobbled streets where the scent of melted belgian chocolate enticed visitors into traditional chocolatier shops.

Brussels had a bit more character than Antwerp, as there was the 'Grand Place' square which was spectacular, especially when the sun was illuminating the ornate detailing of the buildings, as well as having amazing views across the whole of Brussels. It was a very welcoming city and very well known for its historic culture, with a vast number of museums to explore, and beautiful parks.
